Serving Opportunities

Here at Red Lion we want to help you worship God by helping you to serve others. We encourage you to get involved in one of the following ministries:

ADMINISTRATION
The church office is looking for volunteers for administrative help for 2-4 hours each week. Contact Stephanie Weaver

BIBLE STUDY LEADERS
We are currently seeking individuals to lead Bible studies during Family Night and at other times during the week. Contact Pastor Jamie.

CD MINISTRY
This ministry makes every message available on cd. If you would like to help, please contact Jim Wharry.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
We have exciting opportunities for you! They include: nursery workers on Sunday & Wednesday night, Sunday School teachers and helpers, and Pioneer Club teachers. Contact Missy Wamble.

COMMUNION PREPARATION
This team needs your help! Prepare the elements for communion, the day before the first Sunday of each month. Contact Kelly Thompson.

DEBORAH CIRCLE
Women Reaching Out to Others, meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Contact Mary Wolfe.

EQUIP
We are currently seeking individuals to lead Equip classes on Sunday mornings. Contact Patrick Fieger.

FAMILY NIGHT DINNER 
Kaye and her team would love to have your help! Volunteers are needed to assist with serving dinner and cleaning up. Please contact Kaye Zeitler.

FOOD PANTRY : Caring Hearts with Helping Hands
Onsite Food Distribution: We distribute food to the community every Tueday morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. You may drop off non-perishable food items and monetary donations at the church office. To help in this ministry, contact Dolly Emerson.
Neighborhood Food Delivery: We also deliver food every Tuesday evening to local neighborhoods in our community. If you would like to personally deliver food, provide transportation, and/or help load the food into vehicles, please contact Amy Houston.

IMPACT Home Groups
Lead a small group study in your home. If you are interested in becoming an Impact Group Leader, please contact Pastor Jamie.

LION’S DEN CAFE
On Sunday mornings we serve beverages and breakfast treats in the Upper School multi-purpose room. Want to join us? Contact Jill Karlson.

MEALS MINISTRY 
If you would like to prepare a meal for a family with a new baby or for someone with an illness or in recuperation, please contact Bette Frey.

MISSIONS COMMITTEE
Meets every other week. If you want to participate in this new & exciting ministry, contact Carl Armstrong.

OUTREACH
This ministry prepares & mails postcards inviting those in the community to visit our church. Please contact Larry Gilbert.

PRAYER FOR THE CHURCH
Sunday mornings: 9:45 am in the Elementary Teacher’s Lounge. Contact:  Joan Brown.
Sunday evenings: 6:00 pm in the church office Conference Room. Contact: Henry Correll.
Wednesday evenings: 6:30 pm in Pastor Jamie’s office. Contact: Don Young.

RAPTURE GROUND CREW
Our drama ministry meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm in the Elementary Teacher’s Lounge & performs at worship services several times throughout the year. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, please contact Barry Kirk.

STEPHEN MINISTRY
Our congregation’s Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, contact: Bill & Loretta Foster.

STUDENT MINISTRIES
We’re always looking to build our leadership team of energetic individuals who love the Lord. Adults are needed to host DeeperLife home groups and help with LifeHouse on Wednesday evenings. Contact Mark Dell.

SUNDAY MORNING PUSEY CENTER SET-UP
We have a hard-working crew that prepares the Pusey Center for worship on Sunday morning: Chair set-up and take-down, contact: Ray Pusey.

USHERING
Ushers are needed to seat people at each service as well as collect the offering.

VISITATION 
Hospital and home visitation. If your gifts are visiting and praying with others, please contact Henry Correll.

WELCOME CENTER
We need friendly faces to greet people before each service and helpful individuals to answer questions at our Welcome Center. If you would like to help, contact Denise Manna.

WORSHIP MINISTRY
Contemporary: instrumentalists and vocalists.
Traditional: vocalists and orchestral instrumentalists. Participate through solos, duets, ensembles, full choir or orchestra in various styles of music including Easter/Christmas musicals.
Technical: Audio, video, production & lighting specialists. Training provided.
